National Crime Survey 2025-2026 for England and Wales

Good afternoon Farnborough residents, 

I quick message to let you know that the National Crime Survey is due to be conducted in this area and the Office for National Statistics has contracted VERIAN to carry out the survey. 

The crime survey asks people about their experience of crime and is used alongside police recorded crime to provide a more comprehensive picture of crime. 

An interviewer will be carrying out the Crime Survey in the local area on behalf of VERIAN. All interviewers who work on the survey carry a Market Research Society Interviewer Identity Card (an example is attached). This card includes the interviewers name, photograph and a number to call to check their identity. Please ask the interviewer to see their ID card. If you are unsure if the interviewer is genuine you can call VERIAN on 0800 051 0882.
